The BREEAM Excellent Westgate Oxford shopping centre boasts over 100 retail outlets, roof-top restaurants with views over the city and a large cinema complex. The project was delivered by Chapman Taylor architects for main contractor Laing O’Rourke.
“I joined the team at the beginning of the technical design stage and developed construction packages over six months. My primary focus was on the ‘common elements’, which included the floor finishes, pedestrian bridges, balustrades and glazed roofs.”
